Welcome to the transformation of a 1950’s rancher into a perfect haven for a family of four, reflecting their active and laid-back lifestyle. The original rancher was lovingly expanded and updated to create a seamless blend of classic charm and modern living.

Family-Centric Design

In response to the family’s needs, a range of thoughtful additions were made. A double garage, a dedicated kids’ wing comprising two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a lounge/study area were seamlessly integrated with the original structure. This extension has allowed the family to enjoy their space while maintaining the character of the original rancher.

Expansive Outdoor Living

The heart of this transformed home is the expansive, updated main living space that opens up to a private backyard retreat. The addition and primary bedroom now wrap around the beautiful outdoor area, where the family can unwind under the spacious covered patio. Just moments away from the beach, it was essential to make the outdoor space as functional as the interior.

Outdoor Bliss

For the family who loves the outdoors, we incorporated an outdoor shower and ample storage for bikes and gear into the lush back garden. This ensures that every adventure begins and ends seamlessly at home.

In-Law Suite Elegance

In addition to the main transformation, we dug out a new entrance and thoughtfully converted the basement into a cozy in-law suite. It features its own separate entrance, offering visitors a private and welcoming space to enjoy their time in the picturesque Okanagan region.
